Fulfilling the Promise of IDEA: Making Music Therapy Happen in Public Education
Every music therapist working in special education needs to know and understand the specific laws and regulations that support and fund their practice. Every family with a child that will benefit from music therapy needs accurate, up-to-date information in order to assure access to services. This session will share the latest changes in IDEA regulations and clarifications pertaining to music therapy in special education and provide resources for advocacy at the state and local levels.
