I work some children with life threatening illnesses through our hospice program Partners In Care. Many of these children have developmental delays, from physical to cognitive or both. Even though some of these children may not reach their developmental markers, this knowledge will help me to meet them where they are at and provide the appropriate interventions based on their strengths, and maybe improve their quality of life.
