I am so very proud to say that songs from “You and Me Makes…We: A Growing Together Songbook” will be used in a research project by Dr. Elizabeth L. Stegemöller at Iowa State University. Dr. Stegemoller is a music therapist, neuro-scientist and researcher whose work focuses on music and movement. She and her colleagues will be studying how music facilitates movement and academics in preschool children. They have adapted songs from the book to use in this important study. I will let you know when and how the results will be published.
