I am a mother of two boys and have worked with young children for many years. I also have a masters in early childhood education. I found the ages and stages
very helpful. I have learned that in the past but it is always good to review them. Most of my experience is with children 3 years and older and with children with special needs.
It was good for me to review typically developing stages.
It is amazing how much goes on in such a short time during early childhood! I remember being so overwhelmed when my children were small and I am sure that I missed so much.
