    Hi Marly, I really enjoyed reading your response. You highlighted some excellent points of what a music therapist can do. I would also add that Music Together focuses on music skill development only and we as music therapists can take this a step further to music development and how that is apart of the whole child and is connected to their whole development that crosses over into the typical developmental scales seen in psychology and medicine.

    I enjoyed reading about all of your diverse experiences. For those that have not had much experience, when we are not in COVID times, it may be helpful to reach out to friends or family that have little ones to spend time with them, or volunteer at a local pre-school or facility that has young children.

    Wow, that is amazing that they found 250 languages and dialects! I also was happy to hear how you utilize the parent-teacher meetings to gain insights into your students’ traditional and cultural music.
