Hi Marly, I really enjoyed reading your response. You highlighted some excellent points of what a music therapist can do. I would also add that Music Together focuses on music skill development only and we as music therapists can take this a step further to music development and how that is apart of the whole child and is connected to their whole development that crosses over into the typical developmental scales seen in psychology and medicine.

ModeratorI enjoyed reading about all of your diverse experiences. For those that have not had much experience, when we are not in COVID times, it may be helpful to reach out to friends or family that have little ones to spend time with them, or volunteer at a local pre-school or facility that has young children.

ModeratorIt was a pleasure to read all of your responses. It sounds like you each have done tremendous work to understand the communities you work in and have provided programming that supports your community.
ModeratorHi Jezin, Meredith and Elizabeth encourage participants to learn the songs and consider how they could be used. Using them with your niece is a wonderful idea!
