I agree I think we tend to look at the most we can give when really you need to focus on what’s the most effective.
ParticipantMy biggest takeaway was to remember every child is different and they can all be different within their developmental milestones. It’s also important to remember these milestones when advocating for the child you work with so parents and other caregivers can help the child where they’re at not where they are assumed to be.
ParticipantHi everyone! My name is Leah Strand and I am fresh out of my internship. I graduated from Ohio University recently, did my internship in Florida at Florida Music Therapy, and am now starting my career with Central Ohio Music Therapy. I am currently working on getting my MT-BC. During my internship experience, I worked with a lot of kids mainly in individual settings. I also had a good amount of experience working with neurodivergent kiddos and really enjoyed my experience with them. Im really excited to expand my knowledge with this course and to see how I can use it in my starting career.
