[Karli Purscell]

Hi! My name is Karli and I’ve been a music therapist for 8 years. Most of my professional experience has been with adults with developmental disabilities in Nebraska and Virginia. However, a few years ago, I had a burnout situation and moved to Canada to do my master’s degree in music therapy. I ended up meeting my fiance and finding work with a therapy center for young children (most are 5 years old and younger) in Quebec. I’m starting to get my foot in the door with music therapy for this organization as the owner is very interested in music therapy and she would like me to develop a program partnering with daycares in the area. I’m really excited about this possibility, but I feel that I need to increase the depth of my knowledge before I go about fleshing out this program. I’m so excited to have found this training as it fits perfectly with what I am needing right now to provide quality services.
